The same corner suite, the same cream awning, the same machines humming seven days a week since 1985 — now run by a new family determined to make the neighborhood institution better than it’s ever been.
Laundromats don’t usually last forty years. This one did, because the neighborhood kept choosing it. Here’s the short version.
LaunderLand opened at 3100 Fulton Avenue in 1985 — back when Arden-Arcade still called this stretch “the miracle mile of appliances” and a quarter bought a dry cycle. For four decades it did the unglamorous thing well: clean machines, honest hours, laundry folded like somebody’s mother was checking. Generations of Sacramento families did their wash here. Some still come in with the same plastic baskets.
In 2026 the shop changed hands — to our family. We didn’t buy it to change what worked; we bought it because it worked, and because we thought a forty-year-old laundromat deserved a second act instead of a slow fade. So we kept what the regulars love: the hours (7am–10pm, every day), the attended floor, the corner-store friendliness. And we rebuilt what needed rebuilding — online booking for pickup & delivery, published pricing with no fine print, text updates, and a seven-point guarantee taped up over the folding table.
We run it the way you’d hope a family business runs: the owner answers the phone, the drivers don’t rotate every month, and if we get something wrong we re-wash it free or refund it — no form to fill out, just tell us. Every number we charge is published on the pricing page. If it’s not there, we don’t charge it.
Press or partnership inquiries: email hello@saclaunderland.com or call (916) 633-7552 and ask for Manmeet.
Values pages are usually wallpaper. These four actually decide how we run the shop, and you can test every one of them on your first order.
Every number we charge is on the website. No quote walls, no coupon mazes, no “call for pricing.”
Separate loads, sorted colors, hand folding, inspected piece by piece. The guarantee below isn’t marketing — it’s the job.
7am to 10pm, a person picks up — usually the owner. No phone tree, no ticket queue, no “your call is important to us.”
Local family, local staff, local routes. When you spend here, it stays on this side of the river.
Not fine print — the actual checklist taped up over the folding table. If we miss one, the re-wash-or-refund promise at the bottom covers you.
Your laundry is washed by itself — never mixed with another customer's.
Lights, darks, and whites split before the first wash, every time.
Washed and dried at the temperature you choose — cold, warm, or hot.
Hand-folded to your instruction and checked piece by piece before bagging.
Nothing sits and wrinkles. Loads come out the moment the cycle ends.
A photo at pickup and one at delivery, so you always know where the bag is.
Not happy with an item? We re-wash it free — or refund it. Your call.
