East Sacramento — the Fab 40s, the streets around McKinley Park, the bluff blocks above the river — is one of our densest regular pickup zones. Tree-lined, mostly one-car households, lots of older homes with porches that are perfect for porch-drop pickups. We swing through 95819 every weekday, with 95816 (overlapping with Midtown) right next door on the same route.

If you're in East Sac, you're about ten minutes from the shop on Fulton — close enough that you have the option to drop off in person at 3100 Fulton Ave for the in-store wash-and-fold rate ($1.85/lb). For most customers, though, the convenience of porch pickup is worth the four-cents-per-pound difference: the driver does the walking and you get a folded bag back in a day or two.

McKinley Park area customers tend to be regulars. We get a lot of "the same bag, every Friday morning" orders, especially during the school year. We're building a weekly recurring plan to formalize that — same driver, same window every week, 10% off the per-pound rate — and East Sac is on the early-access list. Pricing: $1.99/lb with a 24–48 hour turnaround. Pickup is free over $35 (a normal weekly bag), $5 flat otherwise. Hypoallergenic detergent included at no charge. East Sac packs a lot into a small footprint — the grand homes of the Fab 40s, the bungalows around McKinley Park, the apartments near the university and the med center, all within a few walkable blocks. It's a neighborhood that runs on routine: the same morning loop around the McKinley rose garden, the same Friday-night reset before the weekend. Pickup slots into that rhythm cleanly, which is why East Sac is one of the zones where we see the most standing weekly orders rather than one-off bags.

The wardrobes here skew a little dressier, too, so we field more hang-dry and delicate requests in East Sac than almost anywhere else on the route. Flag those items at booking and they're air-dried flat or on racks and returned on hangers, never tumbled. Everyday wash & fold rides along on the same order at the standard rate, so one pickup covers both the gym clothes and the good shirts — no separate trip, no second minimum. And if you'd rather drop off, the shop on Fulton is about ten minutes up the road at the lower in-store rate.
