Carmichael is one quick run east from our shop on Fulton Ave — straight out Marconi Avenue or along the Fair Oaks Boulevard corridor. We make pickups every weekday up and down 95608: the Marconi corridor near Del Campo, the older blocks around Carmichael Park and Milagro Centre, the Mesa Verde side near the high school, and the leafy larger-lot streets that border Ancil Hoffman Park and the American River.

Pickups work the way they should. Schedule a one-hour window, leave the bag on the porch or a side gate, send a photo if your spot is tricky to find. The driver returns it the same way — we’d rather not ring the bell if there’s a sleeping kid or a work meeting in progress. Everything is washed back at our own shop by the same small team, not routed through a gig app.

Pricing is published, not quoted: $1.99 a pound with a $30 minimum (about 15 lb — one normal weekly bag), free pickup and delivery, and a 24–48 hour turnaround, with next-day express and weekday same-day when you need it. Hypoallergenic detergent is included at no charge, and we’ll separate by family member or color on request. Carmichael homes tend to send more bedding than most of the route, and comforters, quilts, and duvets are flat-rated by item — a king is $15, a queen $12 — so a big linen week never turns into a surprise on the ticket.

Carmichael has more room to it than the neighborhoods closer to downtown — bigger lots, older trees, a few streets out toward the river that still have horse property. It’s a settled place, heavy on established families and two-career households, and handing the laundry to someone who folds it the way you would is the kind of decision people here make once and keep for years.
