How it works

The whole cycle, from “I should do laundry” to “it's folded in the closet,” takes about two days and roughly ninety seconds of your time. Here's how.

Schedule
Book a one-hour pickup window online or by phone. Tell us where the bag will be — porch, lobby, side gate.

We pick up
Our driver swings by in a marked LaunderLand van during your booked window. Leave the bag where you told us and we'll grab it.

We wash & fold
Bag is barcoded, sorted, washed at your chosen temperature, dried, inspected, and hand-folded back at the shop.

We deliver
Back at your door within 24–48 hours of pickup. Drop off the same way you set up pickup — porch, meet at the door, lobby, your call.

We're a small team. We answer the phone. If your question isn't here, just call.
How far in advance do I need to schedule?
Next-day pickup is almost always available. Same-day works if you book before 9am. Weekly recurring customers lock their slot and don't think about it again.
What if I'm not home at pickup or delivery?
Most customers leave the bag on the porch or in a building lobby. Tell us where to find it and where to leave it on the way back. We'll send a photo at pickup and at drop-off so you've got proof of both.
How is my laundry tracked?
Every order has a unique number you can look up in your account. You'll get emails when we confirm pickup and when we mark it ready for delivery. No app required.
What if something's missing or damaged?
Call us. We've been doing this for forty years and we have an actual policy: if we lose or damage an item, we replace it at fair value, up to $250 per garment. We've had to invoke it three times. We'd rather not invoke it again.
How do I pay?
Card, cash, check, Venmo, or Square — all work. Pay at pickup, or at the counter when you stop in. No card on file required.
Can I leave special instructions?
Yes. There's a notes field at booking — temperature, detergent, separating by family member, hang-dry items, stains to flag, "don't ring the doorbell, baby's napping." Whatever you tell us, the team sees it.
How does the weekly plan actually work?
You pick a day of the week and a one-hour window — say, Tuesdays from 9–10am. We come every Tuesday in that window until you tell us otherwise. Skip a week from the confirmation text, or cancel anytime. You save 10% per pound, and you get first pick of routes if the schedule gets tight.
