How much does laundry pickup and delivery cost in Sacramento?
$1.99 per pound for standard 24–48 hour service, $2.25/lb for next-day express, and $2.50/lb for weekday same-day. There's a $30 order minimum (about 15 lb). Pickup and delivery are free, and hypoallergenic detergent is included free.
Is pickup and delivery really free?
Yes — pickup and delivery are free anywhere in our central-Sacramento service area. The only requirement is the $30 order minimum; smaller bags are welcome and simply billed at the minimum. No delivery fees, no fuel surcharges, no hidden service fees.
How far in advance do I need to schedule?
Next-day pickup is almost always available. Same-day works if you book before 9am. Weekly recurring customers lock their slot and don't think about it again.
What if I'm not home at pickup or delivery?
Most customers leave the bag on the porch or in a building lobby. Tell us where to find it and where to leave it on the way back. We'll send a photo at pickup and at drop-off so you've got proof of both.Example: the photo your driver texts at pickup
How is my laundry tracked?
Every order gets its own number, and you'll get status updates by text and email as we confirm pickup and mark it ready for delivery. No app to download — you book and track from your browser.
What if something's missing or damaged?
Call us. This shop has been doing laundry for forty years, and we have an actual written policy: if we lose or damage an item, we replace it at fair value, up to $250 per garment. We'd rather never invoke it.
How do I pay?
Book online and you check out securely by card through our booking system. Prefer to pay in person? Drop off at the counter and pay by card, cash, or check when you pick up.
Can I leave special instructions?
Yes. There's a notes field at booking — temperature, detergent, separating by family member, hang-dry items, stains to flag, "don't ring the doorbell, baby's napping." Whatever you tell us, the team sees it.
How does the weekly plan actually work?
You pick a day of the week and a one-hour window — say, Tuesdays from 9–10am. We come every Tuesday in that window until you tell us otherwise. Skip a week from the confirmation text, or cancel anytime. You save 10% per pound, and you get first pick of routes if the schedule gets tight.
