$1.99/lb with free pickup & delivery, a $30 minimum, and 24–48 hour turnaround. Family-run today, from the shop that's anchored 3100 Fulton Ave since 1985.
Also known as: Citrus Heights CA, Sylvan Corners, Sunrise area.
Citrus Heights sits at the far northeast leg of our route — out Auburn Boulevard past the old motor courts, or up Greenback Lane if the traffic gods are kind. We cover both ZIPs, 95610 and 95621: the neighborhoods around Sunrise Mall and Sylvan Corners, the ranch-home streets off Antelope and Old Auburn, and the big apartment communities strung along Greenback, Sunrise, and Auburn Boulevard.
Those apartments are half the reason we drive out here. A lot of Citrus Heights complexes ration their laundry rooms — a couple of machines per building, quarters only, always somehow occupied — and hauling a week of laundry down two flights to fight for a washer is exactly the chore pickup was invented to delete. Leave the bag at your door or the leasing office with your name on it, add the gate code to the booking notes, and it comes back folded in a day or two.
Citrus Heights runs practical, and so does the pricing: $1.99 a pound with a $30 minimum (about 15 lb — one full hamper), free pickup and delivery, and a 24–48 hour turnaround. Hypoallergenic detergent is free, comforters and bedding are flat-rated by item so a king duvet doesn't get billed by its wet weight, and new customers take 10% off each of their first two orders with code WELCOME10.
Because Citrus Heights is the long leg of the route, pickups here get batched into set windows rather than scattered through the day — booking the night before gets you the smoothest slot, and a standing weekly window means the van simply knows your porch. Families near Rusch Park and San Juan High tend to send the classic weekly bag: school clothes, work clothes, practice uniforms, towels. It all rides at the same rate.
One honest note: we're a Fulton Avenue shop, not a Citrus Heights storefront, so there's no counter to walk into up here. That cuts both ways — you don't get a drop-off option without a drive, but you do get a forty-year-old family laundromat's washing and folding delivered to a part of town where most services are apps with rotating gig drivers. The same crew that folds for Arden folds for you.
We cover 95610, 95621 in Citrus Heights, plus the rest of central Sacramento. If you're on the edge, the checker below will tell you in a second.
